Darren Cunliffe
National Accounts Manager
LiveMore
When I entered financial services in 1992, I was a customer-facing IFA, but recognised mortgage regulation would provide a lot of opportunity.
I left my IFA role in 2005 and set up a mortgage practice using my connections as introducers. This model was successful, resulting in a client bank of high-net-worth individuals, until the market crash in 2010.
I remained in the financial services sector, working in business development for Nationwide and The Mortgage Works for more than a decade.
As the mainstream BDM role became technologically focused, I moved to a specialist lender, knowing how much value a truly empowered business development manager could bring to mortgage brokers.
For the past two years, I’ve helped LiveMore become the lender of choice in the 50-90+ market, where I now hold the position of National Account Manager.
