Matt McGill

Matt has worked in financial services for over 25 years across multiple disciplines including technology, investments and propositions which led him to being accountable for Aviva’s market leading Workplace Savings business prior to taking the lead on the Equity Release business. His experience means he has seen customers through their saving journey to retirement and beyond and has experienced the challenges and opportunities they face.

Matt enjoys the challenge of business transformation, and has successfully led many large scale programmes of work at Aviva across different businesses. He is excited to see where he can take the Equity Release business and, working with the Equity Release Council and their wide range of members, where we can take this industry to ultimately support customers to live a fulfilling retirement.

Outside of work, Matt is kept on his toes by his two sons, who are both sport mad, so spends a lot of time between Rugby, Cricket and coaching Kids football.
