David Forsdyke

David has focused on the Later Life Lending market since 2005. David was the regulator’s subject matter expert on Equity Release between 2009 and 2015. David has held various senior roles in the industry and been a strong supporter of the Council for many years. He is currently Vice-Chair of the Council’s Adviser Forum, as well as being involved in several other working groups. David joined Knight Frank Finance in the spring of 2019 to launch the Later Life Finance service. David has been recognised by the industry with the ‘Market Champion of the year’ award at the Later Life Lending awards in 2023, and his team won ‘Best Small Advisory firm’ in 2024. David is often asked for comment by the press on the growing Later Life Finance market.
