TrustMark is the only Government Endorsed quality assurance scheme for improvements in, or around, the home. Operating across the UK, TrustMark is a not-for-profit social enterprise supporting Scheme Providers and Registered Businesses to improve consumer protection and standards across all sectors. Established in 2005, TrustMark has since expanded its remit following the Each Home Counts (EHC) review in 2016 to include all Repair, Maintenance and Improvement (RMI), Energy Efficiency and Retrofit measures. From 1 July, 2021, on behalf of Ofgem, TrustMark became responsible for the Energy Company Obligation Technical Monitoring and is now subject to TrustMark’s Quality Assurance Framework. TrustMark operates within a Master Licence Agreement issued by the then Government Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
